It is always nice in the depths of winter with all our deciduous trees [ except for the '' confused ones '' ] quite bare, to look back at a photo of a bonsai fully clad with a canopy of lush green leaves.

This is a high quality Acer palmatum, Japanese mountain maple, clump style bonsai, that we purchased with a customer in mind a year or two back. It proved not to be quite what they wanted so it went onto the sale benches. We sold it late last year to a Willowbog regular, which is quite nice as we get to see the tree from time to time. At least I hope we will Mike ?
